"Regular People Redefining How
We Live and Approach Life"
Hello and thank you for visiting. TopTVWorkouts.com was birthed out of my desire to design a website that offered workout programs of different styles and interest for all ages while allowing me to share what I have found to be the core elements to losing weight naturally, getting fit and staying healthy.
Who Am I:
My name is Mona and I've been working out (off and on) for most of my life. Doing all of the right things for a while, then "rewarding myself" by quitting. As I got older, I realized I needed to be consistent in taking care of my health because the pattern I had developed of exercising and eating well then falling back into bad habits can be just as bad to the body as not taking care of it at all, if not worse.
You may have heard it before but it bears repeating - the changes required to lose weight, sculpt your body, firm and tone up (whatever your goal), must become a part of your everyday lifestyle. It is a way of life. Believe me, you will feel and look much better for it.
I am not a fitness advisor or licensed expert - just a regular person who has achieved victory with many of the tools offered here and who has learned success truly is a combination of mind, diet and exercise (fitness trinity).
I enjoy helping people; sharing what has worked for myself and others. Which brings me to the other reason for the TopTV site. I wanted a place to direct the questions I would often receive, such as:
- "What type of exercises do you do?"
- "What do you think of this or that workout?"
- "How do you stay so small?"
- "Could you recommend a quality supplement?"
- "What do you eat typically?"
- "How do you overcome self-defeating thoughts?"
- "How did you stop sabotaging yourself?"
- "How do you stay motivated?"
Well the answers are here. I was tired of saying go to this website for "this thing" and that website for "that thing". I wanted a one stop source to direct my friends, family and acquaintances - a single destination where they didn't have to search high and low for quality recommendations.
Now these great options are not only available to them but the world, so welcome to the fold! It's for those who want to transform their bodies and lives.
Below is a chart of my personal workout plan. It's what I do when I have the time and want to take things up a few notches. I like variety, so I alternate routines, and as you can see Jane Fonda's Original is still part of my regular regimen. I received Jane's "Original" back in '84 and have found the moves to still be effective after all these years.
|Yoga||Jane||Pilates||Jane||Pilates||Jane||Slim in 6|
|PM||Slim in 6||Yoga||Slim in 6||Yoga||Slim in 6|
In the mornings before I eat breakfast, I do some cardio by getting on the elliptical to warm up then I move on to Jane or Pilates, depending on the day.
I save my more intense (targeted) workouts for the evenings. Currently, my workout of choice is Slim in 6 (when I want a switch, I love Billy's Tae Bo).
This is not a regimen that I would recommend, it is merely a plan I've devised for myself. Listen to your body and use common sense. Go at your own pace and build from there. Challenge is good, over-extending is not.*
